Yawni
Dear Sweet Yawni entered our lives in May of 2005. He was a rescue from Kentucky and was being fostered by Ruth Urban. He came to us with Fallon who was a rescue from Canada and was being fostered by Kathy Paris. Ruth and Kathy new the two would make the best of friends…..and they were oh so right. Fallon loved Yawni, and Yawni loved Fallon. They spent hours together playing, sleeping, and “guarding” our home. Yawni was a very kind and loyal companion. He had such warm eyes and an upbeat personality. He always appeared to be “smiling.” His appearance made him a “force to be reckoned with” (he had the biggest paws ever!) – but his gentleness and goofiness shined through as soon as someone gave him the slightest amount of attention. The Postman, UPS Drivers and Fed Ex Drivers all loved him and Fallon, too. They would keep a stash of bones in their trucks and always stop to give him a pet. MANY times, he would climb right into their trucks and have a “sniff” around all the packages….hoping one might be for him. Yawni was plagued with a few different issues –skin allergies, hypo-thyroidism and chronic ear issues….but…you would never know….as he never stopped “smiling”…and always let us “doctor” him when necessary. The girls that groomed him were in love with his winning personality and welcomed him with open arms whenever he arrived. Early in 2015, he suffered from Vestibular Syndrome (aka Old Dog Syndrome). It shows up like a “stroke” – but really has to do with inner ear. He recovered from that with nothing more than a bit of a head tilt….and he never stopped “smiling.” December 30, 2015, started out like any other day – with his master by his side in the yard, when a woman delivering a flyer, sped down our driveway and ran him over. It happened in seconds and our hearts and Fallon’s heart will never be the same. We miss him now and will forever. We love you, Yawni………….Rest in Peace until we meet again…. Bart, Susan and Fallon LoFurno

THE GLASSBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT IS IN MOURNING OF THE SUDDEN LOSS OF K-9 ANKA THE FAITHFUL PARTNER, PROTECTOR, AND FRIEND OF K-9 HANDLER CHUCK WILLIAMS. THEY PARTICIPATED IN SEARCHES FOR MISSING PEOPLE AND WANTED PERSONS, SHE CAUSED THE PEACEFUL SURRENDER OF CRIMINALS, PERFORMED IN K-9 DEMONSTRATIONS FOR THE PUBLIC, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY,SHE KEPT THE COMMUNITY, HER PARTNER, AND OTHER COPS SAFE. WE THANK ANKA FOR HER SERVICE AND WE WISH HER ETERNAL PEACE. THOSE OF US WHO KNOW CHUCK UNDERSTAND THAT HE AND HIS FAMILY LOVED THAT DOG MORE THAN WORDS CAN BEGIN TO DESCRIBE. OUR CONDOLENCES TO THE ENTIRE WILLIAMS FAMILY

Rusty
Rusty was adopted by a loving family in February 2008. In November 2012, Rusty was diagnosed with a heart based tumor and there was nothing that could be done for this sweetheart. Rusty lived a wonderful life with his human family and he was so adored. He was a gentle giant and loved everyone. All he asked for in return was to be loved and that he was. RIP Rusty run free sweetheart!

Rupert
In the summer of 2012, this sweet guy became very ill. Rupert's family and his vet spent 2 months trying to diagnose and treat him. Unfortunately, Rupert crossed the rainbow bridge in September. He was such a playful and loving boy who had an outgoing personality that filled his home with joy. Rupert is missed dearly by his human family. RIP Rupert run free sweetheart!

Shadow
Shadow was almost 11 years old when he passed away on 10/17/2013. I was blessed to have him with me for six and a half years. So many great memories. I still expect to have him greet me at the door with a toy in his mouth or to be lying next to me when I'm on my computer. These things will fade but the memories never will. Rest in peace my good friend. I know your watching over me.
